But, honestly I think the series will eventually be multiplatform, wether it be CoD2 or 3. It would be good, CoD on the 360, BiA on the PS3, and MoH multiplatform.

I wouldn't mind as long as the situation would be balanced by a Brothers in Arms exclusive license to the PS3. If it stays exclusive, its no pain in my bum. I wouldn't doubt it will come to the PS3. Once this is accomplished, WWII games or any games will surpass the emotional pull movies have.Ĭall of Duty, hmm. I am hoping this will be the first WWII game that actually makes you feel like one of the soldiers, become friends with the people you are with, actually get to know them through and through, and truly want to cry if one of your buddies die. Story will be there, we already know that, although I hope it will be more of a sequel then BiA2 was, which seemed like more of an expansion pack for the first game. Graphics are supposedly going to blow your socks off, and they are planning on messing around with the gameplay formula to make it better. But hey, for once surprise me EA, please!Įxpectations for BiA3, for me at least, are extremely high. But, thanks to Criteron's awesome games (Burnout and the upcoming Black) I will still be buying some EA games. EA has become the M$ of game publishers, just throwing stuff out there thats not all that great, but because they are who they are they can make tons of cash. I really don't expect anything at all with Medal of Honor because of it being developed by EA. So far there are two WWII shooters announced for the PS3, those being BiA3 and Medal of Honor Airborne.

It kinda makes me want to get a new PC or an Xbox to play this game, but then I remember that there will be a Brothers in Arms on the Playstation 3, far superior to the experience I would have with the first two games.

Unfortunately for PS2 owners the first and second iterations were both sad ports of great games on the Xbox and PC. Yet again I see myself saying "just another WWII shooter."īrothers in Arms, a very different type of WWII shooter, is a great game from what I played on the PC although it is a little tough. I have to say, what are they thinking with throwing grenades? You push the button and the throwing animation is so fast it seems like they didn't spend time to even make it look realistic. Has anyone played a fixed version of the 360 at Wal-Mart? Anyways besides the graphics, the gameplay wasn't anything special nor was the AI, besides them shooting a lot at me.

First off my experience probably would have been better if the retards at Wal-mart knew how to set the 360 up correctly. I went to Wal-Mart and had a few minutes of playing time with Call of Duty 2, and was quite unimpressed. It seemed like it had good graphics and effects, but at least in the short amount of time playing it felt like "just another WWII shooter". Its kinda funny tho, because I have played about a whole of 15 mins playing the original Call of Duty for PS2 at a neighbors house. I didn't even bother with European Assault because I was so disgusted with Rising Sun. I did not know that about the founders of Infinity Ward were the original makers of Medal of Honor, although you can definitely tell it wasn't the same guys making Frontline when I played the horrid game "Rising Sun". Then after that it slowly got more boring and slow. The first level was the most incredible level I ever played, it actually felt like I was in the war. The first one I ever played was Medal of Honor Frontline. I have yet to play a really great WWII fps. Thanks to the lawsuit involving Activision and Infinity Ward we have two different Call of Duty 2's made by different developers, Call of Duty 2 made by Infinity Ward for the PC and Xbox 360, and Call of Duty 2: Big Red One made by Treyarch for the Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube. Call of Duty, so many weird discrepancies with those games.
